A Tesla home battery needs 13.5kwh each day to be fully charged.

When we are designing solar panel systems to include power storage we are looking at supplying the full 24 hr load not just the day time load. So this is a bigger system that factors in both summer and winter solar production levels.

Battery technology is very sophisticated and the battery is designed to be fully discharged every day. With a solar battery system you can actually see the flow of energy in real time and manage any settings remotely.
