As per the current legislation, we are close to the next reduction in the STC multiplier from 3 to 2. This will increase the upfront cost of a Solar Power System by around $800.
The Solar Credits scheme will remain at a multiplier of 2 for another 12 months before being phased out all together as of June 30 2013.

For all solar power systems due to be installed from 1st July 2012 the reduction in the REC/STC multiplier means you will pay significantly more for your system.
To be eligible for the higher (current) rate your system must be INSTALLED by June 30th 2012.
