The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) today released its final report on electricity pricing, revealing an average increase of 17.3 per cent for electricity consumers in NSW (17.9% for Energy Australia) from July 1st 2011.
It is important to note that only 6% of this is attributed to Renewable Energy (both solar & wind) and that is related to the federal government scheme not the NSW feed in Tariff.
