Electric hot water systems will be phased out from 2012. The NSW state government rebate finishes on 30th June 2011 and the current federal rebate could finish any time.
Don’t wait to pay full price for solar hot water.
Please note the phase out refers to greenhouse intensive electric hot water systems not the electrical component of low emission technologies such as solar or heat pump systems.
