The solar installation expanded the current solar production and enabled the installation of the Tesla home battery.

The low pitch south east roof allowed the use of this remaining section of roof to boost solar production.

Schletter German engineered mounting and specialised L foot metal roof attachments were required to complete this installation.

Being on the coast, the LG panel certification to Standard IEC 61701 (Salt Mist Corrosion Test) is essential.

The Powerwall stores 13.5kwh of usable power and can provide 7kW peak and 5kW continuous power.

The system includes Tesla gateway 2 to monitor & control the powerwall including back up module.

A customised essential service circuit is set up to run the home autonomously during a black out to ensure the stored power is used only for critical items.

Had my 7.38 kw system installed a year ago and I'm happy with the service. Solar is delivering as expected and saving on my electricity bill. They took good care of my terracotta tiled roof and happy to report no leaks during a very rainy year.Superior Solar is more expensive than its competitors, but from my experience is well worth the cost.

Superior Solar were well superior. From the very first contact they set themselves apart with their responsiveness, professionalism and geeky love of everthing solar. The passion and care from what they do comes from the top with Derek but in interacting with any member of the team it flows down to all.In the lead up to the installation the communication was super and the installation and setup went like clockwork.
